Actiontastic FAQ

What is Actiontastic?

Actiontastic is a free tool to help you get things done on your Mac or on the go. The software is inspired by David Allen’s book, Getting Things Done. If you have not read the book and want to get a fresh, brilliant perspective on personal productivity, go ahead and buy it.

Is this software endorsed by David Allen or David Allen Co?

No. Actiontastic and Kaboomerang LLC are not affiliated with David Allen or David Allen Co. in any way, financially or otherwise. “Getting Things Done” and “GTD” are trademarks of David Allen Co.

Is there a quick How-To for using Actiontastic?

Until the Help menu item is released within the app, the best guide is probably the 0.8.3 release announcement.

Can Actiontastic sync with iCal or my PDA?

Yes, as long as your PDA plays nice with iCal. For details, see the 0.9 release announcement.

Does Actiontastic sync more than one Mac using .Mac?

No. However, multi-Mac syncing will be available using Actionatr.

How can I integrate Actiontastic with Apple Mail?

You can use the AppleScript bundled with the download or you can use MailTags, placing a ToDo on the @inbox calendar in iCal.

Will Actiontastic support printing and other export methods?

Yes. These items are targeted for the 1.0 release.

I have an idea for a new feature. How can I get in touch?

Please post your feature requests in The Hub or email jon at kaboomerang dot com.

I have a question. Where can I get answers?
