Let me say first that this is the only GTD app that works for my brain. Here's what I've seen working with Actiontastic for a couple months.

When processing Inbox I noticed that the projects cut off at a certain point (15 items) I have two more after that in my project list.

I noticed that there is a "next action" selector in the Contexts field. Could there be the same thing in the project box. That's where it grooves most directly with my sense of GTD operability. Or could an item be tagged as the next action with a key stroke? I'd love to be able to do that.

I'd like to be able to select multiple actions. Primarily to delete. The deleting protocol is a little strange for me because once I delete something the selection moves back up to the top -- it might work easier if the next action up is selected so one could delete a few things in a row without having to travel back down.

More as it comes. This is a great application. I love its simplicity and Quicksilver integration.

@tricia:

Check the drawer for dates. Also, if you have a way of syncing Entourage to iCal, then you might be in luck, but this hasn't been tested.

@Terry:

If you have a moment, run through steps 1 - 3 in the FAQ (linked on the left) that begins with "I downloaded the first version..." and see if that does it.

I can't add anything. The + button doesn't do anything on the inbox tab. When I add a context or project it doesn't show up in the list. Help!

hey there,
i just started using this and seems nice. couple of questions. 1. i couldnt seem to get quicksilver to do the fantastic thing you showed with actiontastic... second, does this sync with entourage. i finally gave up on mail.app and now have migrated everything over there. also I use a palm treo 650...thirdly, where does one put dates? And finally, and this is really silly but, can you make an option to have colors other than blue and steel gray. i am so tired of the mac blue scheme. it's depressing.
Thanks!

Well, since I didn't get an answer. How unfriendly! ;) I thought I would play around with some more and found that the space bar triggers the File It button. Hope this helps someone.

[...] Via kaboomerang blog I found out that the developer of Actiontastic, a lean and mean application following the GTD methodology, is opening a hub, which is basically a suggestions forum. Seems like the Actiontastic guy is really trying to follow what the users might need and even challenge them for improvments, suggestions and ideas. It’s encourgaing to see that the open source model works even from the analyse process and try to take advantage of the much higher brain power that this model can release.
