@BB:

Yes, the software will expire at midnight, but the latest version, 0.9, is now available for download in the side bar under the icon. A post about the features is on the way. All of your data will remain as-is after copying the new version over the old one in your Applications folder. This new release has an extended expiration date.

Ummm... is the software really going to expire at midnight tonight? I was hoping for a bit more transfer time, since I need to leave home at 7:30am and wanted to be able to move to the new version before going to bed. Any chance you could make these betas NOT expire so that we don't have to upgrade so precipitiously?

Thanks - BB

I just started GTD with Actiontastic this week. So far, it's awesome! But I totally second #55. The PocketMod idea is excellent and would be made even better if you could populate it with Actiontastic data in one go...oh, the bliss.

I thought the iPod integration would do it for me when I leave the computer, but the lack of interactivity is more frustrating than I would have thought (certainly not Actiontastic's doing). Anyway, even if you decide against the PocketMod idea, it would be nice to have the option of exporting data to an easy to parse format, say XML or something, so that others could build on your already solid foundations. I'd always come back to Actiontastic to re-process the next batch of actions. Promise.

Thanks for all the hard work!

Great program, the one idea I have is to somehow identify items in the project list or in the Context list so you will know that there are open items under specific items. That would help so you dont have to go through each of them to find the open items.

It would also be very helpful to have a report that could be generated that would list all the open items and their projcet and Context for easy review and action.

Great program looking forward to the next version that should be out in a couple of days

Keep up the good work

Maybe I've missed something, and maybe I haven't totally grasped GTD, but how are people doing "some day/maybe" with actiontastic?

A separate project?

Nick, if you keep Actiontastic open but hidden (either actually hidden or if you just have another application open on top of it) the window doesn't open when you add tasks through quicksilver.

Hope that helps...

I find it disruptive that the actiontastic window opens every time I use quicksilver to send it a task. Is there a way to turn this feature off? Thanks.

Jon,

You should check out this Mac desktop-based PocketMod app. http://weblog.bignerdranch.com/?p=23

If printing from Actiontastic could be directly into such a format that would be awesome.

@Everyone:

Thank you for the feature requests. If they weren't already on the "decide" or "implement" lists, they are now.

@Michael:

The app will be available for a reasonable price once the beta expires, but I haven't nailed down the exact amount at this point. More details will be posted on this site as they are solidified.

@James Byers:

Thanks for the report. This bug should be fixed in an upcoming release.
